Dr. Edwards was born in beautiful Mandeville, Jamaica before moving to Trinidad and Tobago where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012. He then competed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU Langone Health in 2013 before serving as a teaching assistant in pediatric dentistry at his alma mater. This exposure to the specialty motivated him to receive his Masters in Pediatric Dentistry from the University College London in the United Kingdom in 2018.
Dr. Edwards continued to practice in Trinidad and Tobago while also serving as a Part-Time Clinical Lecturer in the Child Dental Health Department of the University of the West Indies before moving to the United States in 2024. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and the Peninsula Dental Society.
Dr. Edwards enjoys travelling and exploring different cultures, spending time with his friends and going to the gym.
