Originally from New Jersey, she completed her undergraduate training at Binghamton University in New York, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then spent a year traveling, exploring and volunteering in underserved communities in Guatemala and Peru.
During her time at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, she immersed herself in outreach activities targeted towards Women’s Health, access to care for the special needs population and of course, children! After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, she completed her pediatric dental residency at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. She is Board Eligible and looks forward to expanding her practice with Continuing Education and guidance from mentors, new and old.
Outside of work, Dr. Omer enjoys traveling, skiing, spending time with friends, and exploring new eateries.
